Meet Sirius – my latest client to begin their 1-2-1 behaviour modification journey with me. At 60kg, Sirius is a powerful Cane Corso, but like every dog, he deserves patience, understanding, and the right support to thrive.

Whether you’re dealing with a serious dog behaviour issue, have just welcomed a new rescue, are struggling with pulling on the lead, or are starting with puppy training from 8 weeks old, I’m here to support you and your family. My approach is never about simply “training” your dog. Instead, I take a holistic view, looking at everything in your dog’s life that may be contributing to unwanted behaviours.

Sometimes, behavioural issues can be linked to underlying health concerns. In fact, research suggests that up to 80% of aggression cases in dogs are connected to pain. That’s why I often recommend starting with a veterinary check to rule out medical causes before diving into training.

It’s vital not to just focus on the behaviour itself – because that’s only the tip of the iceberg. The real question is: why is your dog behaving this way? By understanding the root cause, we can make lasting changes rather than just quick fixes.

Did you know that many of my behavioural consultations take place online via Zoom? Remote sessions are incredibly effective, more convenient, and often more affordable. No matter where you are, you can still access professional dog behaviour support.

Ready to get started? Book a free 15-minute call with me, Matt, to discuss your dog’s needs and find the best way forward. Together, we’ll help your dog live a happier, calmer life
